Extra Credit

1. Why should people have right to public assembly (to gather in one place for a reason)?
Everyone should have a right to public assembly because if you feel like something should be done about a certain topic and you can't do it by yourself and a lot of people want to help together everyone can protest and then they will see that a lot of people want a change to be done and together you we can make a change.

2. How exactly do you think technology helped protestors in the Middle East to assemble (Hint: think about texting, Facebook and Twitter)?

I think that technology helped protesters because they text different people to get together for a meeting on their protest. They will post it on twitter for followers and to come and help them out. Then they can set a date on the calendar on facebook and people will attend and protest with them.

3. February is Black History Month. How did public assembly help the civil rights movement?

Public assembly helped the civil rights movement because if there wasn't that a lot of people who went then they would of never paid attention. public assembly (a lot of people coming together) helped because it was a lot of people who got together and their voices got heard.

4. What would the civil rights movement have looked like if they had the Internet and cell phones?

The civil rights would have been the same because all they got to do is right a letter to different people and they would go and attend the meeting and then they would still do the civil rights act and succeeded.
